A fascinating 13-minute video presentation tells the story of this natural attraction and of the brave men who envisioned and built the world's highest suspension bridge and steepest Incline Railway, both listed on the National Historic Register. Begin your journey of discovery with the tale of the historic Royal Gorge War, while Colorado history comes alive with original artifacts and photos in our Historical Display.

A Las Vegas entertainer, Christian is a renowned magician who has performed around the world. With over 800 shows a year, he has been featured on MTV, PBS and the Discovery Channel. Now he will bring his amazing act to The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park! Christian has been entertaining audiences of every age and size since he was eight. He is one of the foremost expert illusionists performing today with a wide array of levitations, appearances and everything in between. This is some special royal magic you won’t want to miss!
You can catch his show Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Shows are four times per day.

April 8 – Easter Sunrise Service
This service takes place on the south rim of the Royal Gorge at sunrise and is given by the Canon City Ministerial Alliance. There will be live music by Sam Swancutt, solo bagpiper.
May 1-31 – Fremont County Appreciation Month and Military Appreciation Month
All Fremont County residents with photo ID and active and retired military with military ID and their families will receive 50% off of the general admission fee or season passes (Not valid for family season passes).

July 24-28 – Bayou Salado/Ute Trail Rendezvous
A Pre-20th Century frontier gathering at the south rim of the The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. Public welcome. Come experience the American frontier and fur trade era at our living history rendezvous. See mountain men encampments and speak with traders and re-enactors dressed as they would've appeared in the real old west. Events for Rendezvous campers include hawk and knife throws, black powder shoots, primitive archery, and frying pan toss. You must be in primitive dress to compete in events.
