Rides are available from 1/2 hour after park opening until 1/2 hour before closing. The South Gate is open Mother's Day weekend through Labor Day. To reach the South Gate, turn south on U.S. Highway 50 and Copper Gulch Road. Stay on the pavement and follow the signs.
