Hiring for Special Events Coordinator
The job will include:
Identifying profitable opportunities for park events
Identifying and developing appropriate outside sponsorships
Producing detailed proposals for festivals or events
Total coordination of the event including but not limited to theme, marketing, branding, use of RGB staff, decorations, and catering or special food offerings.
Coordinate and maintain effective communication with all park management staff for each event.
Supervision of event set-up, the event in its entirety and break down of the event. Will be on site for identifying and resolving problems during the event.
Securing suitable entertainment for the event.
Selecting event vendors, direct and supervise.
Tracking event expenses, maintain the budget, check all invoices for accuracy.
Working with RGB marketing and public relations staff to promote the event.
Preparing post event evaluations.
Job Essential Requirements:
Ability to improvise, and be decisive for the success of the event.
Proficient use of a computer and Microsoft Office Programs, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, includes walking and working in a high altitude setting.
Able to work weekends and holidays.
Proficient Customer Service and Communications Skills
Following Company policy and procedure.
Representing the park in a positive manner.
